How long does the loan approval process take?

For most loan types, we aim to provide a decision within 2–4 hours of receiving a complete application and all required documents. Salary Advance and Emergency Loans are typically processed within 30–60 minutes. Business Loans may take 24–48 hours due to the additional documentation review involved. You will be notified via SMS and phone call as soon as a decision is made.

What documents are required to apply for a loan?

For individual applicants, you need: a valid government-issued ID (National ID, passport, voter's card, or driver's licence), proof of income (payslip or 3–6 months bank statement), and an active bank account. For business loans, you additionally need business registration documents (CAC), 6 months of business bank statements, and business address verification. Our team will inform you of any specific additional documents during the review process.

Can I repay my loan before the due date?

Yes, absolutely. We encourage early repayment and there are no prepayment penalties whatsoever. Paying off your loan ahead of schedule means you pay less total interest, which saves you money. Simply contact your loan advisor or visit our office to process an early repayment. You'll receive a statement confirming the outstanding balance before making the final payment.

How is the interest rate on my loan calculated?

Interest is calculated on a reducing balance (amortized) basis. This means interest is charged only on the outstanding loan balance each month — so as you repay, the interest portion decreases and the principal portion increases. The annual interest rate is determined by your loan type, amount, term, income level, and credit history. All rates are disclosed clearly in your loan offer before you accept. Our Loan Calculator on the Loan Products page can help you estimate monthly payments.

What happens if I miss a repayment?

If you anticipate difficulty making a repayment, please contact us before the due date — we have options including grace periods and loan restructuring for clients in genuine financial hardship. Missed payments without prior notice may incur a late payment fee and affect your eligibility for future loans. Repeated missed payments can lead to legal recovery proceedings. We strongly encourage open communication — we are here to help, not to penalize.

How do I track the status of my loan application?

After submitting your application, you will receive a reference number via SMS. You can use this reference number to inquire about your application status by calling our main line, sending an email to support@wayneenterpriseholding.com, or visiting our office. We also send proactive SMS notifications at each key stage — application received, under review, approved, and disbursed — so you're always informed without needing to follow up.

Is my personal information kept confidential?

Yes. We take data privacy very seriously. All personal and financial information you provide is encrypted using 256-bit SSL technology and stored on secure servers. Your data is never sold to third parties and is used exclusively for processing your loan application and managing your account. We comply fully with applicable data protection laws and regulations. You can request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting our data privacy officer.

What is the maximum loan amount I can apply for?

Personal Loans are available up to $300,000. Business Loans can go up to $500,000 depending on your business profile and repayment capacity. Salary Advance Loans are limited to 50% of your monthly net salary. Emergency Loans are available up to $50,000. The actual amount approved depends on your income, credit history, existing debts, and our assessment of your repayment ability. We encourage you to apply for only what you genuinely need and can comfortably repay.

Do I need a guarantor to get a loan?

For smaller loan amounts and Salary Advance Loans, a guarantor is generally not required. For larger Personal Loans and Business Loans above a certain threshold, we may request a guarantor or collateral as part of our risk assessment. The specific requirement will be communicated to you during the application review. A guarantor should be employed, creditworthy, and not currently an active borrower with us.

Can I apply for a second loan while repaying an existing one?

In some cases, yes. Clients with a strong repayment history and sufficient income may be eligible for a top-up loan or a second facility. However, the combined repayment obligation must not exceed a responsible percentage of your monthly income. Our loan advisors assess each request individually to ensure we're not creating an unsustainable debt burden. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

What repayment options are available?

We offer multiple repayment methods to suit your lifestyle: (1) Auto-debit — automatic deduction from your salary or bank account on the due date; (2) Direct bank transfer — manually transferring your payment to our designated account; (3) Mobile money — payment through mobile banking apps; and (4) In-person — visiting our office to make cash or POS payments. We recommend auto-debit for convenience and to avoid accidental missed payments.

How soon can I receive funds after approval?

Once your loan is approved and you've signed the loan agreement, funds are typically disbursed within the same business day. For Emergency Loans, we prioritize disbursement within 1–2 hours of agreement signing. Transfer times depend on your bank's processing speed, but most transfers are completed within a few hours during business hours. You'll receive a confirmation notification once the transfer is initiated from our end.

Are there any fees or charges beyond the interest rate?

We believe in complete transparency. Some loans may include a one-time processing or administrative fee, which is always clearly disclosed in your loan offer before acceptance. There are no hidden charges. What you see in the offer letter is exactly what you commit to. If you have any questions about specific charges, ask your loan advisor to explain each line item before signing — we encourage this.

What if my loan application is declined?

If your application is not approved, you will be notified promptly with the reason for the decision. Common reasons include insufficient income, incomplete documentation, or existing unresolved debts. A declined application is not permanent — you can reapply once the identified issues are resolved. Our advisors are happy to guide you on improving your eligibility and suggest alternative options that may suit your current financial profile.

Is Wayne Enterprises a licensed financial institution?

Yes. Wayne Enterprises Financial Services operates in full compliance with all applicable financial services laws and regulations. We are registered as a financial services provider and maintain all required licences for the loan products we offer. All operations are conducted ethically, transparently, and in accordance with consumer protection standards. You can verify our registration by contacting our office or requesting a copy of our registration documents.

Can self-employed individuals apply for a loan?

Yes, self-employed individuals are welcome to apply. Instead of a payslip, you can provide business bank statements (minimum 3–6 months), evidence of business operations, and in some cases, trade references. Income from freelance work, running a small business, or other self-employed activities is considered in our assessment. The key factor is demonstrating consistent, verifiable income sufficient to service the loan comfortably.
